On Common Ground

The Lake District is England’s foremost National Park, incorporating both the country’s largest area of common land and some of its most iconic landscapes. On Common Land documents the hill farming families who are under threat of being displaced but who are fighting to retain their history, their rights and their place in a landscape that defines them.

A feature documentary in post-production.

Supported by the Foundation for Common Land, as part of their ‘Our Upland Commons’ National Lottery Heritage Fund project. See a short film – a prelude to a feature film – here.
